Selling to the County

The business of the county government consumes large amounts of goods and services. Haralson County is constantly looking for suppliers of the varied goods and services it procures. What do we purchase? Almost everything. Any business enterprise desiring to be listed on the county's Vendor List may do so by submitting a request to be added to the bid list for future and upcoming bids. Certificate of liability Insurance and tax ID is required.

The purchasing department is responsible for the acquisition of materials, supplies, equipment, various services including architectural and engineering services and public work projects (excluding road and bridge projects which are handled by the County Engineer). Haralson County is committed to ensuring all qualified vendors have access to public procurement opportunities, including giving local, minority, small, woman-owned or service disabled veteran owned businesses opportunities to compete for county contracts. Bid Opportunities

Haralson County reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive formalities, to re-advertise and/or to award the contract in the best interest of the County, and to retain any and all Bids for a period of 30 days after the date of bid opening.

Specification Packages are available by following the link below, or in the Haralson County Commissioners' Office, 155 Van Wert Street, Buchanan, GA 30113. They may be picked up Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.
